中国铂金珠宝市场能经受住经济衰退的冲击

    路透东京1月21日电---一位资深业内人士周三表示,相比日本,中国对铂金珠宝的需求更有韧性经受住当前经济衰退的冲击.中日两国均是铂金珠宝的主要消费国.

    "如果我们就目前来说,面对经济下行,中国市场的韧性似乎更好些,"国际铂金协会(PGI)首席执行官(CEO)卡瑞基(James Courage)说.

    中国市场相对较强的表现原因在于其经济状况相对更好,卡瑞基对路透记者表示,他还指出,中国和日本占全球铂金珠宝总需求的约75%.

    "从经济面来看,中国经济并没有出现其它国家那样的下滑程度,"他说."同样作为珠宝市场的一部分,中国所占的铂金珠宝市场份额可能要大于日本."

    中国成为全球仅次于美国和日本的经济体,虽然2009年中国经济成长预计将放缓,但比起其它经济在萎缩的国家而言,中国经济状况相对稳健.

    卡瑞基称,在中日两地都举足轻重的婚庆市场相对受经济恶化的影响较小.

    铂金价格去年走势极其波动,3月劲扬至每盎司2,200美元的纪录高位,而10月则大跌至800美元下方的低点.

    卡瑞基表示,铂金价格急挫意味着铂金回收量已从几年前的水准大幅回落,这显示今年铂金市场潜伏新的销售良机.
